Award Nomination Packets
Nominations/applications are now being accepted for the 2025-2026 State and Regional Awards & Scholarships.
Please take time to recognize the outstanding work and partnerships that
help demonstrate the Head Start advantage in your state and throughout the region.
Nomination/Application packets for each state are available below.
Download the packet for your state, and fill out the forms according to the instructions provided therein.
State award and scholarship recipients will then compete for Regional Awards & Scholarships
which will be presented at a date and location to be announced.
The National Head Start Association accepts nominations for NHSA awards at nhsa.org/scholarships-and-awards.
Applications are accepted from June 1st — October 15th annually.
NHSA Awards and Scholarships are not part of the state and regional awards process.
