Show-Me Head Start ECHO

Support school readiness and overall well-being of children and their families based on the Head Start Model’s comprehensive, whole-child approach.
How does this ECHO work?
Participants will join an interactive online video conference once per month. They will share and discuss cases related to such topics as: parent advocates, the role of community health workers, Head Start in public school systems, trauma in young children, challenging behaviors and medications. The Head Start ECHO will provide a forum for conversation, expertise and collaboration to:
- Use best practices and promising approaches
- Utilize local and state resources to help young children and families
- Collaborate with others in the community to help young children and families
Head Start ECHO sessions will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. every 3rd Wednesday of the month.
What does this ECHO offer?
- Collaboration, support and ongoing learning with specialist educators and other experts

- No cost to participating sites or individuals
