A guest room block is currently being held at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center Hotel as the 2009 Region VII Head Start Leadership Conference. Cut-off date April 20, 2009. The room rate is as follows:

Single Occupancy $103.00
Double Occupancy $128.00
Triple Occupancy $153.00
Quadruple Occupancy $178.00
(or the current government rate) plus applicable state and local tax based on 15.225% as well as the KC Development Fee of $1.73 per room night.

Programs must send proof of tax exemption prior to the event directly to the hotel. Make your reservations early as the room block will close on
April 20th.

Reservations made after April 20th will be on a space available basis at the hotel’s prevailing rate (currently $229 - $325)

The Region VII Head Start Association is proud to announce the upcoming R7HSA Leadership Conference which will be held at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center Hotel in Kansas City, MO May 19 - 21, 2009. The theme for this year’s conference is “Defining Quality - Advancing Excellence .”  As Head Start programs are realigned to follow the new Reauthorization standards the conference is focusing on developing quality leaders that promote and advance excellence throughout the Head Start Program. This is a collaborative training event that is designed to promote professional development and enhance leadership skills.
