Ann Linehan
Director of the Division of Program Management
Office of Head Start

Ann Linehan has worked with young children and their families for nearly thirty years. She began her career in 1972 working as a special needs teacher in a pediatric rehabilitation hospital. Over the past twenty years, Ms. Linehan has worked in various capacities within the Head Start Program. In 1992, Ms. Linehan joined the Federal Government working in Region I, New England, as Program Manager for Head Start. In 1996, she joined the Head Start Bureau in Washington, D.C. (now the Office of Head Start) first as Director of Program Support devoting much of her time to the implementation of the Early Head Start Program. Currently, she is Director of the Division of Program Management, which oversees Monitoring and Training and Technical Assistance.

Ms. Linehan received both her BS in Sociology and Psychology, and a Masters in Education with emphasis on Special Education from Boston State College.
