2009 I CAN Help My Child Stay Healthy Program

Dear Head Start Program,

Applications are now being accepted to participate in the 2009 I CAN Help My Child Stay Healthy program, a collaboration between Central Missouri Community Action and the UCLA/Johnson & Johnson Health Care Institute. I CAN delivers low literacy health care training to Head Start parents.

Programs in Regions I-V, VII, and XI-XII are invited to apply during this round of applications. Please note that applications must be received no later than May 1, 2009. All applications will be reviewed by a panel, comprised of experts from the health literacy, medical, and Head Start communities. Accepted programs will be notified by June 1, 2009.
